All of the animals are awake before us but they certainly tried their best to raise us from our slumber. The smell of bacon cooking certainly helps!
With a day of paddling ahead, we set off to ensure we arrived before the pickup time. We paddled with the boats close together so we could chat to each other. We snacked a lot to keep our energy levels up ;-)
We arrived half an hour early so had time for a swim in the river which was great. Our pick up arrived on time. We loaded the boats on the trailer and were whisked off back to our starting point.
After another great day, we drove home. All a little tired from our adventure, we treated ourselves to a well earned takeaway pizza!
