Our flight left at 01.45am! It took 9 hours to reach Sydney, though we slept most on the way...
We were collected from the airport by a very kind friend which was wonderful. We are staying with them for a few days before we head south. The house they live in is amazing. The garden is our favourite part. It is like living in a rainforest. The noise of the birds, frogs and other mysterious creatures is truly incredible!
We had dinner with the family on the decking outside and Christine made friends with a rather large huntsman spider! Yikes ...
